Industrial blowers supply a huge flow of air or gas to various processes in a variety of industries. They are flexible machines that provide functions like combustion, ventilation, aeration, particulate transport, exhaust, cooling, drying, cleaning, and other industrial applications.

Positive displacement blowers
Positive displacement blowers are blowers that use mechanical devices to squeeze gases and fluids and thereby increase pressure and velocity as per the need. Rotary lobe is a common example of positive displacement blower technology. In this design, two counter-rotating lobed rotors move the medium through the blower. They are driven by electric motors.
This type of technology is common in a variety of industries but is mostly used for pneumatic conveying, gas boosting, filter flushing, and other petrochemical applications.

Side channel
Side channel blowers generate higher pressures than industrial fans but generate lower airflow than centrifugal fans. In side channel blowers, kinetic energy from a rotating impeller is transferred to the pumping medium and converted into pressure. Centrifugal fans are used wherever airflow is needed and their flexible design means they’re suited to a variety of applications.
